UCI Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory testing on patient samples for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The CLS must ensure that equipment and instruments are maintained according to the manufacturer’s specifications and pass quality control testing before patient testing proceeds.

The CLS must undergo regular competency testing to ensure ongoing ability to perform highly complex testing and maintain patient testing standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Demonstrated customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing on patient samples for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
