Job summary

International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex tests in Laboratory Services. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science and CLIA high-complexity testing qualification.

No experience is required, with preferred two years in a CLIA licensed lab. The successful candidate will handle test procedures, data review, QC, instrument maintenance, and shift coverage to support patient care

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science.
• Qualifies as Testing Personnel for high complexity testing under CLIA.
• No experience required.
• Preferred: two years related experience in a CLIA licensed lab.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures with accuracy and precision.
• Reviews and evaluates lab data and reports results with required documentation.
• Performs quality control and tracks expiration dates.
• Maintains instruments through documented maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions per protocol.
• Ensures correct tests are ordered and data entered into the LIS.
• Willing to cover different shifts to ensure patient care.
