Job summary

ProHealth Care is seeking Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Scientists to perform moderate to high complexity testing in the Clinical Laboratory. You will prepare samples, operate automated instruments, and conduct multiple tests while accurately interpreting results.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science or an Associate's in MLT, with ASCP MT/MLT or MLS/BOC certification. Extensions up to 6 months may be granted under approved circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Associate's degree in MLT.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification required, or MLS certification by ASCP BOC must be obtained within 6 months, or AMT MT certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• Under approved circumstances, an extension may be granted for an additional 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Medical Technologists perform moderate to high complexity testing within the Clinical Laboratory.
• Prepares samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation.
• Performs numerous complicated tests simultaneously; accurately evaluates correlates and interprets test results.
