Qualifications

• Bachelor's in medical technology from an accredited institution.
• MT/MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), CLS (NCA), HEW or equivalent certification.
• One year acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens.
• Maintains records and statistical data according to regulative requirements and ensures quality control.
• Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures; collects urine drug screens as required.
