Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist to join our team at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital St. Joseph Campus on a 3rd shift schedule: 7 days on/7 days off (9:00pm–7:30am) with rotating holidays.

You will determine specimen acceptability, perform procedures, monitor instrumentation and report results to support quality patient care. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science or MLS, with 1+ year lab testing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing according to criteria.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
