Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the team at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital - Franklin in Franklin, Wisconsin. This role supports high-volume, production-based laboratory work on a 3rd shift schedule (7 days on, 7 days off) with rotating holidays.

The successful candidate will perform routine and complex testing, monitor instrumentation, and report results to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in chemical/biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• 1 year or more MLT experience preferred.
• Able to pass color blindness test and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and complex procedures according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
