Qualifications

• Certified NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or eligibility.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Biological/Life Sciences; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity coagulation/chemistry testing using manual and automated methods.
• Maintain instrument performance and perform routine maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Adhere to quality control policies and departmental procedures.
• Interact professionally with nursing staff, physicians and support staff.
• Participate in continuing education and training activities.
