Job summary

Qualifications

• NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or eligible (including provisional/limited permit)
• Preference for generalists with hematology and chemistry background
• ASCP certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity coagulation/chemistry testing using manual and automated methods
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Adhere to quality control policies and procedures
• Interact professionally with nursing staff, physicians, and lab peers
• Support implementation/validation of new procedures
• Engage in continuing education and attend training when possible
• Work every other weekend; pass days and holidays as assigned
