The Department of Clinical Laboratories at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Lab Technologist 3 in Chemistry & Immunology to join a technical team in New York.

The role requires performing clinical laboratory procedures in Chemistry and Hematology, with familiarization on Blood Gases, Olympus, and Architect instruments, and a solid grounding in quality control and instrument maintenance.

Formación

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations in Chemistry and Hematology.
• Maintain and troubleshoot routine instrumentation.
• Quality control and method validation knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures in Chemistry and Hematology Laboratories.
• Familiarity with Blood Gases, Olympus, and Architect instruments.
• Demonstrate quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting on methodologies and instruments.
• Collaborate to perform other duties as needed.
