Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist generalist to join Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital Saint Joseph Campus in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 3rd shift role (10 PM–6 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will perform routine and complex testing, monitor instruments, and ensure accurate results to support patient care. Requires a Bachelor's in a chemical/biological science, MLS, or equivalent; 1+ year of clinical lab testing; ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or MLS degree.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a standardized color vision test.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation for proper functionality.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
