• Calibrates, maintains, and repairs instruments; recognizes malfunctions and applies corrections.
• Performs quality control and assurance and takes corrective action as needed.
• Ensures proper labeling and handling of specimens from patients of all ages.
• Provides training and guidance to staff, students, residents and new team members.
