Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Lab Tech to perform venipuncture, specimen processing, and supporting clerical tasks in the Clinical and Anatomic Pathology areas. This full-time, 8-hour position operates on a variable shift within a union, non-exempt environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent with preferred college coursework in biological sciences or chemistry. California phlebotomy certification and BLS certification are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college in biological sciences, chemistry or equivalent preferred.
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Procure and process laboratory specimens following procedures.
• Provide clerical support in clinical and anatomic pathology areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation for tests.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory workspace.
