Job summary

Sky Lakes Medical Center in Oregon is seeking a Tech Lab Assist II for the Lab Clinical Lab. Qualifications

• Required: Education: High School Diploma or GED and 24 science credits.
• Preferred: college courses in anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience at Sky Lakes Medical Center.
• Passed nationally recognized phlebotomy exam within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical, operational and clerical support to lab sections and processes tests.
• Performs phlebotomy services and collects specimens with safety protocols.
• Triages and processes specimens; maintains specimen integrity and data entry.
• Maintains QC procedures, inventory and clean working environment.
• Delivers courteous customer service to patients and staff.
