Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications: Passed nationally recognized Phlebotomy exam within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical, operational and clerical support across lab sections including pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes.
• Triages and processes specimens, ensures specimen integrity and accurate accessioning.
• Performs phlebotomy services including venipunctures and capillary sticks with patient and staff safety in mind.
• Promotes patient safety and reports errors per policies.
