Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Phlebotomy in an acute care environment is preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI) license required in CA, preferred in OR and HI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens for various laboratory tests using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and document pre-analytic and post-analytic work.
• Complete computerized entries for patient registration and test orders.
