Job summary

Creative Testing Solutions, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) to perform routine high complexity testing of biological specimens.

You will work in a team to ensure timely, quality test results and maintain required competencies for applicable testing. Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining records, ensuring donor and patient confidentiality, and collaborating with customers, vendors, and couriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Biology or Chemistry required.
• CLIA High Complexity Testing required.
• State licensure or certification where applicable.
• Must follow SOPs and ensure data confidentiality.
• Experience with quality control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine high complexity testing of biological specimens.
• Maintains accurate records and confidentiality.
• Communicates with customers, vendors, and couriers to ensure quality service.
• Operates & maintains laboratory equipment; performs preventive maintenance.
• Resolves routine problems & escalates non-routine issues.
• Trains and mentors staff as applicable.

Education

Bachelor’s or higher in Biology or Chemistry

CLIA High Complexity Testing

Appropriate state licensure/certification

Reading and following SOPs

Confidentiality & data integrity
