Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, MLS, CLs, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health qualifying for ASCP or equivalent certification examination.
• General MLS/MT (ASCP) certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of pre-analytic workflow to ensure proper specimen handling and order accuracy.
• Performs analytical testing according to SOPs and verifies results for accuracy.
• Maintains QC and instrument maintenance per schedule; ensures reagents and supplies meet criteria.
• Performs post-analytical reporting, interprets results, and communicates with physicians as needed.
