• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field is required.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license in state of practice (or trainee/license and must obtain within 90 days).
• ASCP, AMT or AAB generalist certification required within 90 days of hire; other specific certs for academic centers may apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy and within timeframes.
• Maintains quality control and instrument maintenance; documents corrective actions.
• Adheres to regulatory and accreditation standards; ensures safety and compliance.
• Manages supply and reagent inventory; supports cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional communication with care teams.
