Qualifications

• ASCP certification preferred.
• Minimum five years of hospital laboratory work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the section.
• Provide consultative services to the medical staff.
• Oversee the section/department performance improvement program and participate in hospital interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and staff competency evaluations.
