Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASCP certification or registry eligible and obtained within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs, records and reviews scheduled QC; takes corrective action when data is out of limits.
• Verifies specimen labeling, integrity and suitability before testing.
• Performs low, medium and high complexity testing according to protocols and regulatory requirements; reports results and critical results.
• Performs phlebotomy when needed and monitors supply inventory to ensure availability.
