Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the night shift to perform laboratory testing and ensure accuracy of results. This full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree and ASCP certification or eligibility, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

You will verify specimen labeling, perform QC, conduct low to high complexity testing, report results, and support inventory and phlebotomy as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Medical Technologist/CLS role.
• ASCP certification or registry eligible within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs, records and reviews QC; takes corrective action when data is out of limits.
• Verifies specimen labeling, integrity and suitability before testing.
• Performs low, medium and high complexity testing per protocols and regulatory requirements; reports results and critical results per protocol.
• Performs phlebotomy when needed and monitors supply inventory.
