Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist who can work independently with minimal supervision and grow with a range of modalities. Compensation depends on modalities performed and there is potential for a paid apprenticeship for entrants.

Regular in-person attendance during scheduled hours is essential, with weekend/holiday coverage as needed; shifts include rotating on-call duties and other shifts as required by location.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred PBT ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Eligible to work in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform general phlebotomy and specimen handling.
• Check in and reconcile orders; data entry.
• Assist with provider procedures and specimen processing.
• Maintain confidentiality and on-call coverage.
