Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Clinical Lab Assistant.

Position Details

• Status: Part Time
• Location: Sentara Medical Group - Family Medicine - Virginia Beach, VA
• Work Hours: 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for specimen entry into the laboratory.
• Labeling, processing, and distributing specimens based on testing requirements.
• Monitor supply levels in the specimen processing area.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve problems.
• Interact with hospitals, nursing facilities, and physician offices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No specific certification or licensure required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
