Job summary

UTMB Health seeks a Clinical Applications Analyst to design, configure, implement, maintain and support clinical applications across ambulatory and inpatient settings, including imaging and specialty workflows.

The role involves providing basic to intermediate analysis, documenting requirements, and delivering efficient, scalable technology solutions with strong customer service and on‑call availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• IT background with experience troubleshooting workstations, applications and components.
• Experience supporting clinical applications and clinical workflows.
• Experience with medical imaging workflows or applications (Radiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology).
• Experience with PACS, VNA, or other medical imaging and clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, analysis, and system administration for enterprise imaging and ancillary clinical systems (PACS, CPACS, VNA, AI).
• Collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology and ITS teams to support clinical workflows.
• Develop knowledge of supported applications, workflows, and components to assist with troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and 24x7 on‑call support.
