Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an intermediate level IT professional to provide support for multi-user clinical operating systems, hardware, and software tools. The role emphasizes translating end-user needs into optimal configurations, with a focus on clinical applications and process improvement.

The position requires a minimum of five years in IT application or related operations, and an Associates or Technical degree (Bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

Associates Degree or Technical Degree; in lieu of degree, extensive IT or Operations experience considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of IT application or related operational experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with system users, ITS staff, and vendor resources to resolve clinical information systems issues.
Plan, design, develop, train, implement, and evaluate existing or new clinical information system functionality.
Research, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware.
Maintain knowledge of clinical information systems, workflows, and their relation to other systems.
Develop and maintain training materials; conduct training when appropriate.
Support achievement of department goals and participate in projects as needed.
Assist leadership with budgeting and cost-effective ITS practices.
