Job summary

UMC Health System in Texas is seeking an IT Device Integration Technician I to install, maintain, and repair clinically integrated devices and A/V solutions on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The role involves hands-on work with mobile devices, MDM management, and cross-department collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree highly recommended) and practical experience with device troubleshooting, IT systems, and a patient-focused health

Qualifications

• Must have experience/training in device troubleshooting
• Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM)
• Comfortable working in a health-system IT environment

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and troubleshoot clinical devices and systems as assigned
• Prep, deploy, and support corporate mobile devices and manage via MDM
• Coordinate maintenance or repair of devices as needed
• Manage IPTV software and media players
• Troubleshoot failures and restore functionality
• Assess A/V equipment and recommend new solutions
• Monitor systems by rounding on departments
• Document repairs in the ticket system
• Perform other duties related to digital health as assigned
