Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute in north Alabama seeks an IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support to staff and clinicians across locations. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support system upgrades, and help maintain a secure IT environment essential to patient care.

The role requires experience in desktop support, strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and hardware, with healthcare EMR/EHR familiarity considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common hardware/peripherals.
• Healthcare setting familiarity or EMR/EHR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support for staff at multiple clinic locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Set up and configure new workstations, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Support staff in using clinical software, including ARIA (Varian), Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and IT infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with the broader IT team on data cleanup, equipment rollouts, and departmental improvements.
