Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in the United States is seeking an Associate Director, Business Insights Lead to partner with Clinical Site Management. You will translate complex questions into data-driven analyses that inform senior leaders across global site strategy and study design.

You will own analytical products, drive portfolio insights, engage stakeholders worldwide, and mentor junior analysts while aligning with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Finance, Analytics, or related field.
• 10+ years in business analytics/strategy; pharma/healthcare background preferred.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering executive findings.
• Strong analytical and strategic decision-support skills; excellent communication.
• Experience with data analytics/visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel).
• Familiarity with clinical trial operations or R&D processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SABI partner to Area heads and leadership.
• Lead portfolio-level insights from hypothesis to recommendations.
• Own analytical products for Clinical Site Management and benchmarking.
• Provide cross-geographic support to global stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into scoped analytical workstreams.
• Influence Sr. Directors/VP-level decisions with clear insights.
