Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Manager of Data Strategy and Business Intelligence to lead data strategy for Market Access and Patient Services. You will guide data architecture, quality, and governance while shaping analytics capabilities across the organization.

You will partner with BTS and data teams to build scalable BI platforms, drive data enablement, and translate business needs into technical specifications for KPI reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in BI/data analytics.
• 5+ years leading BI projects independently.
• Strong knowledge of syndicated pharma data sources.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of market access data architecture and data flows.
• Identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues.
• Collaborate with BTS and data engineering to optimize data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex data problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and execute a plan for data acquisition across Market Access data domains.
• Serve as SMEs for data related to Market Access domains (claims, payors, hierarchies).
• Lead design, build, and implementation of new BI platforms and analytics solutions.
• Drive platform enhancements based on evolving business needs.
• Establish and maintain BI standards, governance frameworks.
• Gather requirements for KPIs from stakeholders.
• Define and maintain business rules for data accuracy.
