Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director, Business Insights to partner with Clinical Site Management (CSM) and lead portfolio-level analytics across global sites. You will translate complex questions into data-driven analyses and drive decision support for senior leaders.

You will own analytical products for site management, collaborate across regions, and mentor junior staff while aligning with enterprise strategic initiatives and CDO-wide objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, strategy, or a related client-facing analytical role.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering findings to executives.
• Strong analytical and strategic decision-support skills to translate ambiguous questions into data-driven analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex analyses for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SABI point of contact and trusted advisor to Area heads and Clinical Field Excellence leadership.
• Lead delivery of portfolio-level insights from hypothesis generation to recommendations.
• Own and evolve key analytical products for Clinical Site Management (site ID/allocation models, country/site benchmarking, enrollment scenario planning).
• Provide analytical coverage across Americas to Europe to Intercontinental for global stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into scoped, actionable analytical workstreams.
• Influence Sr. Directors/VP-level decisions through executive communication.
• Collaborate with SABI leads and adjacent CAP functions to ensure consistency and reuse of methodologies.
• Support priority CDO-wide initiatives and mentor junior team members.
