Job summary

Hong Kong Study Skills Research Institute is seeking a Medical Scribe for a full-time role in a primary care setting. The successful candidate will support primary care providers with clinical documentation, enabling providers to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities include documenting patient encounters and assigning codes, among other clinical documentation tasks.

Qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology and strong communication skills, along with the ability to work in a team and adapt to workflows. Various benefits are provided, including health insurance and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience through shadowing or volunteering is beneficial.
• Ability to type 70+ words per minute is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters, including history of present illness and physical exams.
• Assign appropriate CPT and ICD‑10 codes.
• Prepare after-visit summaries and consult with provider for accuracy.
