Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a hybrid-structured leader for its Clinical Informatics division in Traverse City. Lead staff development, drive performance and operational oversight, and partner with clinical leaders to optimize EHR performance and safety.

You will direct workflows, standardize EHR practices, and guide technology evaluations across the organization, ensuring effective clinical applications and improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years in Clinical Informatics.
• Leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder influence across org levels.
• Experience with EHR implementation and optimization; Cerner EMR/CPOE preferred.
• Strong PM, analytical, and organizational skills for cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Informatics dept, oversee staff development and performance.
• Advise clinical/operational leaders to optimize EHR performance and safety.
• Direct workflow redesign and process-improvement initiatives.
• Establish EHR best practices and standardization across the org.
• Partner with IT/clinical leadership to evaluate and implement new tech.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, healthcare, or related field
