Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Informatics Manager to lead the IS&T Data & Analytics informatics team and drive governance, workflow redesign, and optimization of technology-enabled care.

You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to deliver governance, priority setting, and adoption strategies that improve patient care, clinician experience, and organizational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role with direct reports or matrixed leadership responsibility.
• Advanced degree in nursing, medicine, informatics, public health, healthcare administration, or healthcare-related field with 5+ years of healthcare experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant healthcare experience or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Formal training or certification in clinical informatics, project management, change management, Lean, Agile, human-centered design, or product management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Informatics staff in developing and optimizing clinical information and operational systems.
• Lead, coach, and develop clinical informaticists serving as service-line liaisons and governance partners.
• Support IS&T project management and governance to ensure informatics work is properly scoped and prioritized.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to align informatics with organizational goals and resources.
• Facilitate integration of clinical information systems and AI-enabled tools into clinical operations and workflows.
• Analyze complex clinical operations and translate needs into requirements and implementation plans.
• Support evaluation, governance, and monitoring of emerging technologies including digital health solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance.
