Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis seeks a Clinical Informatics Manager to lead the Informatics team, align clinical information systems with patient-centered care, and partner with IS&T and operational leaders. You will drive governance, prioritization, workflow redesign, and adoption of technology-enabled improvements, including AI-enabled tools, analytics, and decision support.

Ideal candidates have an advanced degree and at least 5 years of healthcare informatics leadership; Epic experience

Qualifications

Experience in a leadership role with direct reports or matrixed leadership responsibility.
Advanced degree in a healthcare field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant healthcare experience or equivalent combination.
Epic certification or substantial experience with Epic optimization.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to Informatics staff in identifying, developing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing clinical information and operational systems.
Lead informatics staff serving as service-line liaisons, governance partners, workflow experts, and product owners.
Support IS&T governance and project management processes to scope, prioritize, implement, and evaluate informatics work.
Partner with clinical/operational leaders and IS&T to align informatics with organizational goals and resources.
Translate clinical and operational needs into workflow assessments, requirements, implementation plans, adoption strategies, and measurable outcomes.
