Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI, seeks a senior Clinical Informatics leader to guide EHR optimization and clinical workflow improvements across the organization. You will drive standardization, implement best practices, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, healthcare, or a related field.
8 years of Clinical Informatics experience required.
Clinical background is required.
Experience with EHR implementation and optimization required; Cerner EMR/CPOE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Clinical Informatics department, including staff development, performance management, and operational oversight.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders to optimize EHR performance, quality, patient safety, and efficiency.
Direct workflow redesign and process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical and operational outcomes.
Establish and implement EHR best practices, standardization efforts, and performance improvement strategies across the organization.
Partner with IT and clinical leadership to evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies, system upgrades, and clinical applications.
