Job summary

Apicha Community Health Center is seeking an Informatics Manager to oversee clinical information systems in a high‑volume NYC healthcare setting. You will administer EHR tools, coordinate data workflows, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver reliable technical solutions.

The role includes project planning, end-user training, and staff supervision to ensure top quality patient care through optimized informatics processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, informatics or related field required.
• Advanced degree in healthcare informatics preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with an electronic health record (eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Experience creating project plans, managing timelines and risks.
• Experience using EHR data to support quality reporting and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead informatics projects from planning through implementation.
• Develop training and onboarding plans for EHR and clinical information systems.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to design workflows and system optimizations.
• Coordinate with IT on EHR updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Provide supervision to EMR Support Specialist and oversee ongoing maintenance.
