Capital Health is hiring an Equipment Technician to support the department by locating, cleaning, decontaminating, and preparing instruments and equipment. The role requires basic medical knowledge, English proficiency, and CPR/AHA BLS credentials, with non-licensed staff eligible to obtain certification before orientation ends.

The position operates 8-hour shifts, emphasizes teamwork and patient safety, and offers benefits consistent with a full-time role in a dynamic health system.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• AHA BLS certification; Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Proficient in English; strong verbal and written communication.
• CPR training required.

Responsabilidades

• Locates, cleans, decontaminates, sets up, and prepares instruments and equipment.
• Assembles necessary supplies and keeps area stocked.
• Maintains department cleanliness and equipment inventory.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique in all duties.
• Provides indirect patient care and supports quality patient care.
