Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency, EMT training or medical assistant program, and AHA BLS certification.

• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.
• Education includes high school diploma or equivalent and EMT/medical assisting training.

Responsibilities

• Provides for safety aspects of patient care and responds to emergencies.
• Performs phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKGs as required.
• Performs clerical duties, computer system tasks and supply maintenance.
• Collects specimens and records accurate intake and output.
