Job summary

Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that assists clinicians, enabling continuous, human-centered care. The Clinical Engineer Associate translates customer needs into practical, agentic workflows and manages the full technical lifecycle from initial deployment to a thriving, self-sufficient customer.

You’ll design workflows with clinical and operational stakeholders, debug production issues, lead architecture discussions, and run safety audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an implementation engineering, or customer-facing technical role in SaaS/healthtech/enterprise software.
• Comfortable owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end without a playbook.
• Sharp communicator — able to explain complex integration failures to a CTO and a head nurse.
• Experience working embedded with enterprise customers or health systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom workflows with clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for complex agentic issues, diagnose and coordinate with engineering.
• Lead demos, technical discussions, and solution architecture for clinical AI workflows.
• Define success metrics for deployed workflows and build evaluations.
• Visit clinics and hospitals to understand user teams firsthand.
• Own trade-offs on build vs. customize vs. roll out of knowledge flows.
• Run safety audits and recommend refinements.
