Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Clinical EHR Applications Support Specialist in Louisville, KY on a hybrid schedule. You will provide Level 2 support for a proprietary clinical EHR, troubleshoot complex workflow issues, and collaborate with clinical and technical teams to resolve problems while supporting monthly releases and upgrades.

The role emphasizes hands-on healthcare software experience, testing, and training end users, with rotation into 24x7 support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical applications, EHRs, or healthcare information systems.
• Experience providing Level 2 support for healthcare applications.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues in a production healthcare environment.
• Experience with application testing, implementations, upgrades, and releases.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare application functionality.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for a proprietary clinical EHR application.
• Troubleshoot complex clinical application and workflow issues.
• Work directly with users to identify, investigate, and resolve application problems.
• Support monthly application upgrades and production releases.
• Perform application testing and ensure changes are fully tested before production.
• Use Azure DevOps for testing and application-related activities.
• Use ServiceNow for application support tickets and issue tracking.
• Support interfaces and integrations connected to the EHR.
• Participate in application implementations, enhancements, and system changes.
• Document application functionality, processes, procedures, and system requirements.
• Assist with requirements gathering, solution design, specifications, and implementation.
• Train and educate users on clinical application functionality.
• Work with clinical, business, technical, and development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in a 24x7 application support rotation as needed.
