Job summary

Riverview HealthCARE Center, part of Signature HealthCARE, seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to lead nursing education and training within a 121-bed long-term care setting. The RN must hold current licensure and CPR certification, with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, preferably in LTC, and solid knowledge of applicable nursing regulations.

The role emphasizes developing in-service programs, competency checks, and hands-on training, ensuring high-quality resident care and staff

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• 3+ years clinical experience in health care; LTC experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and LTC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Regularly check CNAs' skills and provide 1:1 instruction as needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in deficient areas before resident care.
