Job summary

Riverview HealthCARE Center in Prestonsburg, KY is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator. The RN with active license will lead training, ensure regulatory compliance, and assess competencies among CNAs and staff in the nursing department.

You will deliver in-service education, monitor performance, provide one-on-one coaching, and help maintain high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in a health care setting, long-term care preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education per regulations and staff health monitoring.
• Regularly check CNAs' skill performance and provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff before allowing tasks with residents.
