Job Description:

Our RN Clinical Educators have a unique opportunity to use their clinical nursing expertise outside of direct patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology.

You will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on infusion pump medical devices, sets outside the pump, and connectors primarily used in critical care and oncology units.

Your primary focus will be on in-servicing and education; there are no sales responsibilities or bedside care involved. This is a per-diem position requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.

Position details:

  • Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month required.
  • Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations.
  2. Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver effective training.
  3. Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns regarding the medical device.
  4. Provide updates, reports, and feedback to clients during and after in-service sessions.
Job Requirements:
  • BSN required.
  • RN license required.
  • At least 2+ years of ICU, Oncology, ER, or critical care unit experience within the past 5 years.
  • Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable with basic software programs.
  • Experience with IV pumps and pump education is desired but not required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Ability to work in a group setting and demonstrate professionalism.

The estimated hourly pay range is $37.00-$39.00, with actual pay depending on qualifications, location, and schedule. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may be offered.
