Job Description:

Our RN Clinical Educators have a unique opportunity to utilize their clinical nursing expertise in a new role outside of direct patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology.

You will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on infusion pump medical devices, sets outside the pump, and connectors, primarily used in critical care and oncology units.

Your primary focus will be on in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities and no bedside care. We seek individuals with a desire to expand their talents in clinical education. This is a per-diem position requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.

Additional details:

• Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month is required.
• Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations.
• Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver effective educational experiences.
• Utilize your clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns regarding the medical device.
• Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.

Job Requirements:

• BSN required.
• RN license required.
• At least 2+ years of ICU, Oncology, ER, and/or critical care unit experience within the past 5 years.
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable with basic software programs.
• Experience working with IV pumps and super-user/pump education experience are desired but not required.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a group setting and demonstrate strong professional acumen.

The potential pay range for this role is $37.00-$39.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, location, and schedule. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may be offered.
