Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a qualified RN educator to develop and maintain the clinical competency of nursing staff across various resident needs. The role entails planning and delivering training, coordinating inservices, and maintaining staff education records.

Ideal candidates will hold Kentucky RN licensure with at least 3 years of relevant experience, possess strong communication and teaching skills, and be proficient in care planning, MDS, and chart audits.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in Kentucky with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong teaching and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of MDS, care plan development and chart auditing.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and implements clinical training for all clinical staff.
• Develop new training tools, policies and procedures.
• Provides clinical modules during orientation to all employees using the appropriate materials.
• Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents inservices for all departments.
• Maintains records of all inservicing for staff.
• Coordinates educational equipment and resources.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees.
• Maintains record of individual staff education.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
