The Education Coordinator is the organization-wide educator. By maintaining competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments in requirements for acute care hospital and all applicable facility-wide healthcare settings, the Education Coordinator designs, develops, plans, and teaches educational programs for the employed, contracted, affiliated, volunteer individuals and others as identified. The educator has the authority and responsibility of supervision all orientation programs and has indirect supervisory responsibility for new employees when involved in educational programs or processes.
