Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator within Imaging Services to ensure reliable delivery of unit-based clinical learning for imaging residents. You will direct and coordinate education activities and work closely with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education to recruit, train, and coach residents.

Responsibilities include monitoring program effectiveness, reporting on activities, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications required upon hire or advanced educator credentials.
• 3 years imaging technologist experience; teaching/leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor, report on program activities and effectiveness.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Education

Work Experience

• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography Required
• Previous educator experience Preferred
• Previous lead or supervisory experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
