Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to lead unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents across modalities within Imaging Services. You will recruit, train, and coach residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, monitor activities, and report on program effectiveness while ensuring compliance with guidelines.

This role reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging and requires a strong radiologic technology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program. Required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography.
• Previous educator experience preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required with advance certification in area of educational instruction (CT/MR/M) or ARDMS or NMTCB. BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor and report on unit-based activities and effectiveness.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.
