Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to oversee unit-based imaging education in Brookhaven, GA. You will deliver resident training, coordinate education activities within Imaging Services and report on program effectiveness.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB/BCLS certifications, 3 years of imaging tech experience and prior educator or supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; on-site position with Piedmont Imaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical education and credentialing processes.
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, IR or Mammography.
• Previous educator or lead/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate and oversee education work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train and coach imaging residents.
• Monitor and report on unit-based activities and effectiveness.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program Required
• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography Required
• Previous educator experience Preferred
• Previous lead or supervisory experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
