Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator in Imaging to oversee unit-based learning and development for radiology residents. You will direct education-related work within Imaging Services and ensure adherence to established guidelines.

You will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in collaboration with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, while monitoring activities and reporting outcomes to leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program required.
• Minimum 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, IR or Mammography.
• Prior educator or leadership experience preferred, with ability to recruit, train and coach residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Recruit, train and coach imaging residents in partnership with Imaging Clinical Education Manager.
• Monitor, report on unit-based activities and effectiveness to stakeholders.
• Directly report to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
